How Babio works

Babio offers a safe and reliable place for preserving your baby’s milestones and precious moments which will be accessible only to you and no one else. Children grow up too fast and there is nothing more special than being able to memorize all these happy times. With Babio, you can make the most out of it and create unforgettable photo memories for your whole family across iPhone and iPad devices.

With Babio, you are able to create a unique custom-made profile of your baby and fill it up with all the rememberable milestones which will never be lost thanks to this handy app with unlimited storage.

Babio is not only a storage place where you can create photo albums and collections but it is also an easy to use designing tool. It has a built-in editor where photos of your babies can undertake more detailed edits or you can just brighten them up with some unique stickers such as announcement badges and many more. You can also choose from a huge collection of pre-designed templates which can be easily customized and turned into your own designs.

What can be found in Babio

The main screen of Babio creates the ‘My Memories’ wall, which will be mentioned in this tutorial many times. We can describe ‘My Memories’ wall as a place where all stored milestones and precious memories can be found -> tap on the bottom ‘Memories’ situated on the bottom navigation bar.

• Baby Profile - firstly, start with creating profile of your baby / babies

Location: tap on the top right corner ‘Baby Face’ icon

Features and Functions:

1. Add a profile photo of your baby - tap on the created profile of a baby -> ‘About my baby’ tab opens -> tap on ‘Add photo’ and upload it from your device
2. Fill in details about your baby - tap on the created profile of a baby -> ‘About my baby’ tab opens -> fill in the details - baby’s name, date of birth and gender
3. Select color of profile - choose from the selection of blue, pink or orange. Tap on the profile of a baby -> ‘About my baby’ tab opens -> choose a color -> tap on the bottom ‘Update’
4. Color of the app - the selected profile color automatically changes the color of the whole app and gives even more personalized look
5. Delete profile - tap on the top right ‘Baby face’ icon -> ‘My babies’ -> tap on top right ‘...’ icon on the selected profile of baby -> ‘Baby Options’ tab pops out -> tap on the red ‘Delete Profile’ -> ‘Delete’
6. Separate profile for each baby -  with own customizations and storage, so you don’t mix their memories
7. Create multiple profiles - if you have more than one baby, tap on the bottom ‘+ Add a baby’  -> fill in details about your baby -> tap on the bottom ‘Create’
8. Switch anytime between profiles - tap on the top right ‘Baby face’ icon -> ‘My babies’ -> tap on top right ‘...’ icon on the selected profile of baby -> ‘Baby Options’ tab pops out -> tap on ‘Select Profile’ -> ‘OK’. Now, all the photos in the ‘My Memories’ tab will be replaced with photos of the selected baby.

• My First Book - contains pre-defined customizable milestones in a form of albums. Each Milestone Album can hold one or multiple photo memories

Location: tap on the bottom ‘Memories’ section -> ‘My Memories’ wall opens -> tap on the ‘My First Book’ tab with a teddy icon -> ‘My First Book’ tab opens

Features and Functions:

1. To upload a photo memory or multiple photo memories to the existing Milestone Album - tap on the selected Milestone Album -> tap on the bottom right ‘+’ icon and upload photos from your device

2. To add your own new Milestones Albums - tap on the left ‘+ Add Custom’ -> type a name of the album or choose from the pre-defined list of album names

3. To look easily through the photo memories in Milestone Album - go to selected Milestone Album -> tap on any photo memory -> Photo Viewer opens -> swipe your finger to the right or left, or use the bottom ‘<-    ->’ icons instead

4. To add more details to each photo memory - go to selected Milestone Album -> tap on selected photo memory -> Photo Viewer opens -> tap on the bottom right ‘Add Details’ - select a date or type notes -> ‘Save’

    
5. To share photo memories from the Milestone Album - go to selected Milestone Album -> tap on selected photo memory -> Photo Viewer opens -> tap on the top left ‘Share’ icon and choose from the wide offer - share to Facebook, Instagram, Messenger or any app which is installed on your device
6. To move photo memories anywhere between app - go to selected Milestone Album -> tap on selected photo memory -> Photo Viewer opens -> tap on the bottom left ‘...’ icon -> ‘Options’ tab pops out -> tap on ‘Move Memory’ - choose from the list and tap on it
7. To delete photo memory from the Milestone Album - go to selected Milestone Album -> tap on selected photo memory -> Photo Viewer opens -> tap on the bottom left ‘...’ icon -> ‘Options’ tab pops out -> tap on red ‘Delete Memory’ and confirm
8. To rename pre-defined Milestones Albums - tap the selected Milestone Album -> tap on the top right ‘...’ icon -> ‘Options’ tab pops out -> tap on ‘Change Name’ -> type the new name to ‘Custom album name’ tab or choose from the list of predefined album names
9. To delete Milestone Album - tap the selected Milestone Album -> tap on the top right ‘...’ icon -> ‘Options’ tab pops out -> tap on the red ‘Delete Album’ and  confirm

• Collection - each separate collection is made out of optional amount of photos, which all together create a huge file or group = collection

Location: tap on the bottom ‘Memories’ section -> ‘My Memories’ wall opens -> tap on the ‘Collection’ tab with flowers and rainbow drawings

Features and Functions:

1. To create new Collection - tap on the left ‘+ Add’ section -> tap on ‘Collection’ -> new Collection has been added to the ‘My Memories’ wall
2. To change name of created Collection - tap on the selected Collection in My Memories -> tap on the top left ‘Edit’ -> change name in the column with ‘Collection’ -> tap on ‘Done’ -> tap on the bottom ‘Save’
3. To change cover photo of Collection - tap on the selected Collection in My Memories -> tap on the top left ‘Edit’ -> tap on the middle ‘Add header photo’ and upload a photo from your device -> tap on the bottom ‘Save’
4. To add notes to Collection - tap on the selected Collection in My Memories -> tap on the top left ‘Edit’ -> tap on the ‘Type notes here…’ field and type your text -> tap on ‘Done’ -> tap on the bottom ‘Save’. The text will be visible right under the header photo in the Collection screen
5. To add photos to Collection -  tap on the selected Collection in My Memories -> tap on the bottom right ‘+’ and upload photos from your device
6. To share Collection as photos - tap on the selected Collection in My Memories -> tap on the top left ‘Share’ icon -> ‘Share Collection’ tab pops out -> tap on ‘Photos’ and choose from the wide offer - share to Facebook, Instagram, Messenger or any app which is installed on your device
7. To share Collection as a Zip File - tap on the selected Collection in My Memories -> tap on the top left ‘Share’ icon -> ‘Share Collection’ tab pops out -> tap on ‘Zip File’ and choose from the wide offer - share to Facebook, Instagram, Messenger or any app which is installed on your device

• Photo Memory - add and view single photo memories to the main ‘My Memories’ wall

Location: tap on the bottom ‘Memories’ section -> ‘My Memories’ wall opens -> tap on the ‘+ Add’ -> tap on ‘Photo’ and upload it from your device -> single photo has been added to ‘My Memories’ wall

Features and Functions:

1. To add more details to single photo - tap on the selected single photo in ‘My Memories’ wall -> Photo Viewer opens -> tap on the bottom left ‘Add Details’ -> select a date, type notes -> tap on ‘Done’ -> tap on the bottom ‘Save’
2. To move single photo - tap on the selected photo in ‘My Memories’ wall -> Photo Viewer opens -> tap on the bottom left ‘...’ icon -> ‘Options’ tab pops out -> tap on ‘Move Memory’ - choose from the list and tap on it
3. To delete single photo - tap on the selected photo in ‘My Memories’ wall -> Photo Viewer opens -> tap on the bottom left ‘...’ icon -> ‘Options’ tab pops out -> tap on the red ‘Delete Memory’ and confirm
4. To share a single photo - tap on the selected single photo in ‘My Memories’ wall -> Photo Viewer opens -> tap on the top left ‘Share’ icon and choose from the wide offer - share to Facebook, Instagram, Messenger or any app which is installed on your device
5. To edit and personalize single photo - tap on the selected single photo in the ‘My Memories’ wall -> Photo Viewer opens -> tap on the bottom ‘Open in Editor’ and start editing, choose from all available editing options 

• Photo Viewer - any photo memory opens with the photo viewer, no matter if it is placed in Collection, My First Book albums or as a single photo memory placed in the ‘My Memories’ wall

Location: Tap on any photo memory -> Photo Viewer opens

Features and Functions:

1. To add more details to each photo memory - tap on any photo memory in -> Photo Viewer opens -> tap on the bottom right ‘Add Details’ - select a date or type notes -> ‘Save’
2. To look easily through the photo memories - tap on any photo memory -> Photo Viewer opens -> swipe your finger to the right or left, or use the bottom ‘<-    ->’ icons instead
3. To share photo memories - tap on selected photo memory in -> Photo Viewer opens -> tap on the top left ‘Share’ icon and choose from the wide offer - share to Facebook, Instagram, Messenger or any app which is installed on your device

6. To open and edit in the editor - tap on selected photo memory -> Photo Viewer opens -> tap on the bottom ‘ Open in Editor’ -> ‘Editor’ opens and you can start editing
