How Call Recorder works

By default, recording of phone calls isn't possible on iOS devices. Our Call Recorder is a unique combination of technologies that allow overcoming this iOS barrier.

Your phone number must be verified before recording a call. You must either have available trial minutes or one of the subscription plans.

  3. To add the person you want to have a conversation with, tap the "add call" button.

  5. Tap "merge calls". This is the most important step!

  6. Once you end the call, the recording will be downloaded to the app. Note that it may take a couple of minutes to download your recording. When it's ready, you will be notified via a push notification.

  6. Once you end the call, the recording will be downloaded to the app. Note that it may take a couple of minutes to download your recording. When it's ready, you will be notified via a push notification.

Interesting & important notes before starting:
  1. Call Recorder App operates on a standard telephone network. It is available nonstop and worldwide.

  2. The basic principle is to create a 3-way call between the caller, callee and the Call Recorder Bot.

  3. The connection to Call Recorder Bot is established by calling the dedicated telephone number.

  4. The dedicated number acts as a standard local number. Yet, it is NOT a toll-free number. Calling this number is charged by your telecommunication services provider.

  5. We recommend to acquaint yourself with your telecommunication services provider roaming and calls-abroad policy as calling numbers out of your country can be costly.

  6. When calling the Call Recorder Bot, the phone number must be visible (not hidden/private). Otherwise, it is not possible to pair the recording with a relevant device and download the recording to the app.

  7. Some telecommunication service providers automatically end phone calls after reaching 60 minutes as a form of security measure.

  8. Some of telecommunication service providers require you to have Conf Call service activated in order to be able to use the Call Recorder App service.

  9. Standard telephone network Conf Call is usually able to hold 5 phone numbers (4 persons + Call Recorder Bot) but it depends on your telecommunication service provider policy.

  10. The Call Recorder Bot announces that the call is being recorded as soon as it answers the call. This applies to incoming/outgoing or ongoing calls -  the announcement is always heard ONLY by the one who is calling the Bot - others on the line don't hear it.

  11. Recording somebody without their clearly voiced consent is considered illegal in some countries. It is also a matter of courtesy. Always ask the other side for permission to record the conversation. Should the other side reject giving such permission, end the call. Call Recorder is not responsible for any damages caused in this regard.

10 minutes trial & first steps:

Call Recorder offers 10 minutes of call recording for free to test the service and to make sure it is the right fit for your needs. Remember, only the Call Recorder service is free, there are still charges by your telecommunication services provider for calling the dedicated local number.

  1. Tap the "CALL" button

  2. Fill in your number and tap Send Verification Code.

  3. Insert the code from the SMS.

  4. Voilà! You have 10 minutes trial to try out the service. Tap the "Call" button again to start recording your first call.

Subscription Plans:

To continue using the service after spending your 10 trial minutes, you can choose from 3 subscription-based plans by tapping the "Choose a Plan" button on the Call Recording screen.

  1. Weekly

  2. Monthly

  3. Yearly

Each of the plans provides unlimited Call Recording for a specified period of time.

We hope this app will save your time and that you find it to be a helpful utility for your business!
